Course Objectives:

The objective of this course is to introduce the M.S./Ph.D. student to a variety of issues related to the successful completion of the thesis/dissertation component of the program including selecting a faculty advisor and a research topic, literature searching tools, technical writing and documentation, ethics in writing, and technical presentation.
