Course Overview:
This course deals with the application of database technology
to the World Wide Web. Oracle's Web Application Server (Oracle WAS 3.0) will
be the primary platform for developing projects for this course.
The PL/SQL cartridge and Java Cartridge will be discussed and
database access to Oracle using JDBC will covered.
In addition to developing projects, current research papers on
semi-structured data, databases and the Web, etc. will be covered.
The student will also write a research paper.
